Joel Salatin

Joel Salatin calls himself a Christian libertarian environmentalist capitalist lunatic farmer. Mixing mischievous humor with hard-hitting information, Salatin both entertains and moves people. He passionately defends small farms, local food systems, and the right to opt out of the conventional food paradigm.

When he’s not on the road speaking, he’s at home on the farm, keeping the callouses on his hands and dirt under his fingernails, mentoring young people, inspiring visitors, and promoting local, regenerative food and farming systems. Four generations of his family currently live and work on his Polyface Farm in Swoope, Virginia where they raise salad bar beef, pigaerator pork, pastured poultry, and forestry products.

Yes! We plan to offer Intensive Sessions on Thursday afternoon. Details and registration will be available later. You can purchase your 2-day pass now and register for an Intensive Session later, if you’d like.

We’re looking into this option. The child ticket option will not be lower than this special 2-day presale rate, though. So if you think your child would like to come, this is your best opportunity!

We’ll offer single-day tickets later this year. This special rate is just for the 2-day best, giving you the best value at our lowest rate.

Details for lunch options will be released later this year. You can buy your 2025 tickets now and decide on lunch tickets later.

We’ll build our speaker line-up throughout the rest of this year. For now, you can be confident that we’ll continue to bring you engaging speakers who are passionate about their area of expertise and excited to share their wisdom with you!

We understand that unexpected things come up sometimes. In this situation, you have a couple of options. First, you can buy Purchase Protection through our ticketing platform at checkout. Terms and conditions apply, so please read those before purchasing.
