Thursday Afternoon Intensive Sessions (April 16)

When you join us at the Seeking Whole Health Conference, you know you’ll hear from amazing speakers, gain new insights, and expand your knowledge.

But there’s only so much a speaker can share in 45 minutes.

If you want to take your learning to the next level and go deep on a certain topic, you need something that

  • Gives you more time to learn and ask questions
  • Hosts a smaller crowd so you can get more time with the speaker
  • And even offers some hands-on experience or live demonstrations

Does that sound like something you’d love? If so, we have just the thing for you!

Join a Premium Intensive Session Experience

On Thursday afternoon, the day before our conference officially kicks off, we’re hosting 6 Intensive Sessions that give you a premium learning experience. You’ll love what these exciting options have to offer!

  • Break out of the dinnertime panic and discover how you can stock your kitchen with healthy and budget-friendly meals with Dr. Wendy Sue Massey.
  • Find hope and direction for holistic cancer care so you understand your best options from naturopath Marvin Hershberger.
  • Discover how simple bodywork techniques can support lifelong breast health with Licensed Massage Therapist Yvonne Fey.
  • Demystify homemade herbal remedies as you learn herbal foundations and make four useful remedies with Jasmine Lucero.
  • Expand your cooking skills and improve your health with Sophia Eng as she introduces you to nourishing, traditional Asian cooking methods.
  • Rediscover God’s faithful love as you explore how your emotional and spiritual health impacts your physical health with Dr. Ben Edwards

Last year’s Intensive Sessions were a conference highlight for many of our attendees, and we expect this year’s to be no different.

  • The Intensive Session was my favorite part of the whole conference. I learned so much and it made me excited to go home and get started on my own!

About Each Intensive Option

Monthly Meal Prep Made Simple: A Practical Path to Health and Stewardship

Think you’re too busy to eat healthy? Think again! In this hands-on intensive, Dr. Wendy Sue Massey shares a simple, time-saving system to prepare nutritious, family-friendly meals for an entire month in just a few hours. You’ll learn practical strategies, smart storage techniques, and budget-friendly tips that make clean eating realistic, affordable, and sustainable. This session will equip you with the tools and confidence to overcome the common barriers of time and cost—so you can nourish your body, simplify your life, and serve the King with excellence.

A Naturopath’s Approach to Cancer Care

Too many people live in fear of cancer, but you don’t have to. Join naturopath Marvin Hershberger as he dives into a holistic view of cancer where the terrain tells the story. Marvin will help you understand the differences between terrain and disease approaches to cancer, how a robust terrain helps your body fight off disease, and what you can do to strengthen your terrain. He’ll share testing and lab options you can explore for specific needs, as well as possible approaches you can pursue for optimizing your overall health. Instead of fearful, Marvin will help you feel empowered and educated as he walks you through the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of health.

Supporting Life-Long Breast Health (CANCELLED)

Due to an unexpected family emergency, Yvonne’s Intensive Session is cancelled.

Breast health is a vital component of total body health for women. With breast cancer at the forefront, you’re supposed to perform monthly self-exams and get preventative screenings. But what if there was more you could do to promote long-term breast health? Join Licensed Massage Therapist Yvonne Fey as she shares bodywork techniques that offer both preventative measures and rehabilitation healing. She’ll cover anatomy and functions of the breast and thoracic areas, common benign breast conditions, signs and symptoms of breast lumps, specific lymphatic drainage for the breast, and breast massage.

Our Intensive Sessions will kick off Thursday afternoon (April 16) at 1:00 pm with registration opening at 12:30 pm. We’ll go over some logistics together before breaking up into separate sessions.

After 90 minutes of deep learning, we’ll take a quick break, then get back into the rest of each session. You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions during these interactive experiences, during the break, and at the end.

Our day will close out at 4:30 pm, giving you plenty of time to get dinner and unwind before the conference begins on Friday.

FAQs

Only if you have the uncanny ability to be in two places at once. Since all five classes run at the same time, you’ll have to choose one Intensive Session that sparks your interest most. If there are two you really want to attend, find a friend to go with you. You go to one, your friend goes to the other, and you both teach each other what you learned. Research shows that teaching someone else is the best way to make your learning stick!

You sure can! This is a stand-alone experience that you can purchase separately. Most of our Intensive Session attendees will join us for the rest of the conference, but we’d be delighted to host you for just this part if that’s all you can join.

That said, we can’t guarantee a conference grab bag if you only join for an Intensive Session. And we’re pretty confident you want a grab bag. Just putting that out there. They’re packed with some really good stuff.

Because our Intensive Sessions are limited capacity, children can only join with a paid ticket. Most kids will probably be bored with these in-depth and longer classes, too. Interested teens may love to join you, though! Nursing and lap babies are welcome to join with a parent, though we do ask that you step out if your child becomes unhappy.

Because our seats are limited, tickets are non-refundable. However, if you end up unable to attend, we can transfer your ticket to someone else. Just email us at info@seekingwholehealth.com with your order information and the contact information for the person receiving your ticket up to 1 week before the event. After that, we are unable to transfer tickets.

We offer conference recordings for our conference keynote presentations and breakout sessions. Because of the nature of our Intensive Sessions, we do not offer recordings of these classes.

No, Intensive Sessions are an additional and optional learning opportunity you can add to your VIP experience.

Easy! You’ll go to the same ticketing page where you first registered for the conference. Simply select the Intensive Session you wish to add, check out, and you’re all set!
