  • Your breathing might feel a little stuffy and congested.
  • You might even get hit with some fever and body aches.

Cold and flu season might come around every year, but you don’t have to be caught off guard. We’re here to help with our fall community dinner!

Enjoy an evening out with a likeminded community that values health, relationships, and God

Your Evening With Us

When you join us, you’ll experience a delicious and nourishing catered dinner from Deb Geiser of Quince Catering while you soak in the scenery at The Wellspring, a beautiful event venue in Wooster.

Your gluten-free meal will feature local and organic ingredients. While you eat, you’ll experience live piano music and encouraging conversations with old and new friends.

Then, you’ll enjoy short, helpful presentations on how to stay well when sickness is going around.

  • Lori Bryant will share her best tips on eating for a healthy immune system. She knows how tough this can be, especially around busy holidays when there’s sugar everywhere. But she knows it’s possible and will help you find ways to do it.
  • Kristen Smith will demonstrate how to make her family’s favorite cold and flu remedy: Fire Cider. You can make this flexible kitchen remedy with ingredients from your average grocery store and customize it to fit your family’s taste.
  • Finally, you’ll hear from Yvonne Fey, a licensed massage therapist. She’ll help you understand your lymphatic system, why it matters during cold and flu season, and how you can support it with simple self-massage techniques.

FAQs

Yes! All of our dinners are gluten-free to accommodate one of the most common dietary restrictions our guests have. But we’ll also have dairy-free and vegan options available and are happy to work out a solution for you if you have additional needs. Feel free to contact us here if you have questions about your food restrictions.

Older children might enjoy our dinner, but younger kids will probably be bored. We won’t have childcare or a kids’ table available, so you’ll likely enjoy your evening better if your little ones stay with a trusted caregiver. All children will need a ticket, except for nursing or lap babies.

Yes! In fact, that’s one of the reasons we created these Community Dinners. When’s the last time dinner and a movie offered you the chance to eat healthy food that tastes great, talk about things that are important to you, and meet new, like-minded friends?

The Wellspring is located at 4470 W Old Lincoln Way, Wooster, Ohio.
