Winter Community Dinner
Budget-Friendly Holistic Health
January 18, 6:00-9:00 pm, at The Wellspring in Wooster, Ohio
You want to take care of yourself with quality foods, the right supplements, and a nontoxic environment, but you keep running into the same issue: there’s only so much money to go around.
You believe your health is worth investing in, but that doesn’t take away from the reality of bills.
And when you see the receipt from the health food store, you sometimes second-guess where you should spend and where you should skimp.
We understand that prioritizing your health while staying on budget isn’t always easy. But we’re here to offer ideas and solutions with our Winter Community Dinner.
Your Evening With Us
When you join us, you’ll experience a delicious and nourishing catered dinner from Deb Geiser of Quince Catering while you soak in the scenery at The Wellspring, a beautiful event venue in Wooster.
Your gluten-free meal will feature local and organic ingredients. While you eat, you’ll experience live piano music and encouraging conversations with old and new friends.
Then, you’ll enjoy first-hand advice and encouragement from real people with real budgets who find creative ways to prioritize their health.
Paul and Colleen Yoder will start things off by sharing how they’ve raised a large family while prioritizing health. Paul’s down-to-earth advice and experience will encourage and motivate you to make the best choices you can with the income God has given you.
We’ll wrap up our speaking time with a Q&A panel featuring the Yoders, Kristen Smith, and Karen Geiser. You’ll get realistic, compassionate answers with a dose of real-life humor, too.
Our Menu
You’ll love the delicious, nourishing food we have prepared for your evening! In fact, when we ask our Community Dinner attendees about their favorite parts of their evening with us, the top item is always the food!
We’re planning a cozy and warming chili dinner that’s perfect for a winter evening. We’ll serve it up Cincinnati-style with your choice of gluten-free noodles or spaghetti squash as a base. Then you get to finish it off exactly how you like with our toppings bar. And if you need keto/Paleo or vegetarian/vegan chili, just let us know and we’ll have it ready for you!
We’ll also have a crisp salad with fresh vegetables on the side and two yummy dessert options: a chocolate peanut butter oat cup or a dairy-free, grain-free fresh fruit cup.
As always, our Community Dinner menu will be
- Gluten-free, with sprouted flour or sourdough items on the side and clearly labeled
- Soy-free
- Pasture-raised
- Organically-grown
- Naturally sweetened with honey, maple syrup, dates, or coconut sugar
- Vegetable oil-free
If you have additional dietary needs, just make a note when you check out with your ticket. We’re happy to accommodate you!
Ticket Information
Community Dinner tickets, which include your healthy catered meal, piano entertainment, and live speakers, are $57. Bring a friend or two for a healthful evening out that beats dinner and a movie any night.
To help more married couples join us, especially those with young children, we’re offering spouse tickets for the special price of $47. This is one way we’re trying to support families working hard to raise healthy kids and grandkids.
Here’s how the special couple pricing works:
- Add 2 Regular Tickets to your cart.

Ticket sales close January 7 at 11:30 pm EST. We can’t wait to see you there!
Due to technical difficulties, we’re running tickets for this event through Eventbrite.
